Dress clips are brilliant. Especially this one! One of the most interesting jewellery innovations to come out of the 1930s, this design was patented in 1936 by designer Ralph Polcini in 1936 who founded the now highly collectible Polcini Company which became Leading Jewelry Co. (known as Ledo) . The double dress clip can be used as a single brooch attached to a bracket, or seperated to use either individually or as a matching pair on the squared neckline of your dress. Now you can adorn pretty much anything you like with one or both of them. This rhodium plated rhinestonepair is true Art Deco and in lovely condition with round and baguette cut stones and the full mechanism intact, along with its patent number! Total maximum length 2.24" (5.75cm)
