Judging by the clasp this incredibly pretty paste brooch likely dates to 1910s-1920s and has a German patent stamp. The articulated tail and clear backed square droplet really catch the light when it moves. Classy and classic,  it would grace the front of an Edwardian era corset blouse, or the lapel of a fitted jacket just as much as a floaty drop-waist 1920s evening dress. 1.5” long
